Vessel's final sea trails carried out on 27th/28th of August 2004 after satisfactorily carrying out endurance, speed, steering/emergency steering, turning circle, williamson turn, crash/inertia stop and noise level trials.

HOSC General Manager Mr. Khalifa M AL Hitmi accompanied by Mr. Subhash Tyagi, Mr. N. Krishnan and Captain Manoj Mittra visited the vessel on 3rd september 2004 prior to taking delivery of the vessel.

The delivey protocol was signed at Hotel Leela in Mumbai on 3rd September 2004. Handing over documents were signed by Mr. Rishi Agarwal, Managing Director, ABG shipyard and Mr. Khakufa M AL Hitimi, General Manager, HOSC, witnessed by Mr. Subhash Tyagi, Manager (Fleet and Maintenance), HOSC and Mr. R S Nakra, Director, ABG Shipyard.

Subsequently protocol of sea trails, certificates, drawings, manuals and spares wereprepared and signed by Mr.N.Krishnan,
HOSC and D.P. Gupta, General Manager, Administration at Surat.

Vessel after complying al contractual requiremnts commenced her maiden voyage on 4th September 2004 0630 hrsto Doha from Surat.
