The fleet & Technical department is an integral part of the operations team and plays a vital role in keeping the vessels in a well maintained condition, fully compliant with contractual, statutory and class requirements. A very professional and competent team of marine personnel ensures that the vessels remain in the highest state of operational preparedness.

The superintendents and port engineers work on the 'vessel manager' concept, which allows them to have freedom to select their team for operation of the vessels, implement sound technical management practices and holds them responsible and accountable for all aspects of vessel's operational management. The vessels managers are encouraged to maintain and enhance the asset value of vessels under their charge while keeping the expenses to minimum.

The department provides technical consultancy to offshore operation department in carrying out pre-hire inspections and post fixture technical management of chartered vessels. The department is responsible for drafting new builiding specifications and overseeing all aspects of new building activity.

Besides, we always endeavour to walk that extra mile to help our valuable clients in carrying out safe and efficient offshore operation. We strictly practice the policy that 'The client is always right and our sole existence is for him and not the other way round'.

The rapid increase in the scale of operation and number of vessels has necessitated us to think of a more equipped and spacious workshop for the F & T Department. Construction of a new workshop to meet the growing requirements is expected to start by Next Year.
